1. Hey Guest, welcome back to DLP

As you can see, we've changed our look. We've migrated from vBulletin to the Xenforo forum system. There may be issues or missing functionality, if you find anything or have feedback, please check out the new Xenforo Migration Feedback forum.

Our dark ("Dark Lord Potter") theme is under heavy development. We also have a light ("Light Lord Potter") theme for those happier with a light background and darker text.

Can't believe we don't have a rap thread already. Post what you're into lately! For me, CNG - Not My President.

I'm currently on an Eminem kick right now. His latest stuff is a lot better.

I don't usually listen to rap, but when I do, it's usually Immortal Technique or Tech N9ne (or whatever happens to be on the same pandora station as them)

Speaking of Tech N9ne, Am I A Psycho is a great song.

Humble by Kendrick Lamar. Wouldn't have mentioned this one, but IRC has made it clear that some people live underneath rocks and so I can't assume you've been exposed to it.

On a bit of a Fort Minor kick again, so I've been playing The Rising Tied again. Blast from the past, and pretty much every song on the album is top notch.

    Loving Best Friend by Yelawolf.

Also been hitting up some old Bad Meets Evil, Eminem, 50 Cent as of late.

On a barely related note for the other weeb degenerates in here, Poolside Identity and Black and Yellow provide awesome backbeats to weeb music.

On yet another related note, the San Holo remix of Next Episode is fantastic.

It's spelled Ludacris, mate. "Ludachris", honestly.

Anyway, some lesser work I've been listening to on and off, loads of different genres:
JME - Don't @ ME (mostly because of Skepta's verse, that last line gets me every fucking time.)

    100s - 10 Freaky Hoes

Chaundon - A Pimp Named Slickback (which I found when looking for the instrumental of the theme from the Boondocks.)

    Talib Kweli - Get By

Also Death Grips. Because Death Grips.

    My main rap playlists:

General. Needs to be updated but I've let it sit for like a year.

Logic, my personal favorite rapper. Playlist is of his older mixtapes, which I still listen to religiously. I like his new stuff too.

My on my way to work playlist that I've been updating more regularly.
