1. Hey Guest, welcome back to DLP

As you can see, we've changed our look. We've migrated from vBulletin to the Xenforo forum system. There may be issues or missing functionality, if you find anything or have feedback, please check out the new Xenforo Migration Feedback forum.

Our dark ("Dark Lord Potter") theme is under heavy development. We also have a light ("Light Lord Potter") theme for those happier with a light background and darker text.

Ordered my copy a couple days ago from CreateSpace (I'm all for bigger royalties) and it's set to arrive Monday. Looking forward to it!

Huh. No, I don't believe so.

What's the cost if you buy it direct: https://www.createspace.com/4126494

I think only the ebook, at the moment, is available at amazon.ca

It took me 8 days to notice this thread. Fucking Master's program. Fucking work. Fucking life.

Time for a nice long weekend of reading.

Just out of curiosity, how much has been raised for DLP so far?

So, how are you guys enjoying the Anthology so far?

Not so-subtle request for more reviews as time allows.

So I was trying to take a picture of myself with my just-arrived copy, and this happened.

The figures are a touch messy at the moment, as the royalty rate isn't set in stone for every unit sold. However, we've cleared three figures comfortably and sold a whole bunch - 40 - paperbacks. So I'd tentatively say two months and change worth of DLP site costs. Well worth the endeavor!

In other news, I'm currently at #8 on Amazon's bestseller list and I think Dresden's going to fuck me up something terrible if I keep rising the ranks. Staring me down pretty hard here:

He did it just now between stuff. There's also an Amazon link in there -- I'd like to know if sales are skyrocketing, after all, it's now on our frontpage ;)

Epub version plz. DRM-bound proprietary formats spring fully-formed from the devil's semen and I don't want to give Amazon money for pushing that abomination.

This is huge. Should have had an announcement sooner. Didn't know about it until now.

I am going to buy a paperback.

    I'm surprised people missed this.

Go for the paperback version, it came out beautifully.

Or go for both - I would if I had a kindle!

You don't actually need a kindle. You can download the kindle computer software so you can read the ebooks right on your computer, for free.

Just saw this was out, definitely buying a hard copy. Should have it done by this weekend so I can leave a review on amazon and actually know what I'm talking about.

At that time, it was #65,614 on Amazon, and #56 in Anthologies. Five hours later, it was #50,377/#44, twelve hours after it was #32,902/#26, and now (18 hours after), it's #28,565/#22. I wonder if those are all sales to DLP members, and what it means in actual figures. What's it say on your end, Joe?

Also: The physical copy is on Amazon.de, costs 10€ and gets shipped for free from here. I know that you get less if I order it that way, but seeing as I can't even figure out what the shipping costs are for the CreateSpace version, plus customs hassle as it gets shipped from the US, I hope you don't mind if I get it the first way.

On the bright side, none of the German DLPers now really has an excuse not to buy it. 10 bucks! Free shipping! Doo eeet!
