It's kind of corny, kind of cliche, kind of cute. I thought it was hilarious.

In that thing you call a closet. Better watch out,
Not funny, pointless, don't know why it's in here. Well-written, somewhat good characterization. James randomly goes, I love you.

I found it rather amusing, especially the last feeble "Brains?" That statement is what made it great to me, the puppy dogish way it was said.

Yeah, the posts were just flowing in here.

I don't reckon a one-shot really needs a plot, so long as it has a point, or is amusing.

I reread it anyway, still think it's rather clever.

I think Opalish has rapidly gone down hill, he went from writing a relatively good, novel length, Indy!HP story (which he abandoned) to writing a bunch of shitty one shots..

Pretty sure opalish is a she, and she's always been writing very cute sweet, well-crafted one-shots and drabbles. Invictus was a great start to a novel-length that she did kinda lose steam and put on a long hiatus, but she's been doing these lovely little drabblish one-shots from way before that fic. I don't even mind her Harry/Ginny little flufflets because her Ginnys are pretty endearing and not the usual mindless empty twat that Ginny is in most Harry/Ginnys (I know, blasphemy, and I don't care).

This ficlet's pretty cute. Much like most everything she does. Sure I'd love to see her get back into Invictus, but she also started another real fun post-HBP fic idea called Impractical Heroics. But at only two short chapters so far, it's not worth plugging and reccing too much.

Mainly though with these short little one-shots and drabbles (this fic is what, 500 words maybe?) there's just not enough to discuss or comment on. Enjoyable. Fun. And that's about the extent of my feelings on this one.
