    I think Snape is absolutely a hero. In fact, he is my favorite character in the entire series. I LOVE the way that JK wrote him. He is an extremely complex individual. Think about what he did for a second. So he turns out to be one of the good guys in the end, despite the fact that everyone on his side hated his guts. Even before he killed Dumbledore, many (if not most) people on the good side didn't like him. And he did it all because of love.
