    Yo, I’m Bio_d

I’ve stumbled upon this site two or three years ago, due to a mention somewhere on FF.net and I become curios about it enough to take a look, since then I’ve been lurking around the forum from time to time.

I’ve started reading fanfiction after the release of the order of the phoenix, and I read mostly everything in the beginning, but as years went by finding a fic worth the time became an exercise in frustration.

I don’t have a favorite genre, but I dislike shipping, angst and character bashing. I seriously enjoy crack, good plots and out of the box ideas
I read mostly Harry Potter and Naruto fics.

I’m from Portugal and English is not my first language, so I ask a bit of understanding in lieu of laughing at my toddler level grammar.
I’m 18 years old, taking a college degree in Bio-Medicine in a wonderful university next to the Atlantic Ocean.

I enjoy driving, good music, modern art, good books, video games and weed. My favorite writer is Fernando Pessoa and I hate Jane Austen and J.K Rowling latest works.

Only one response? :/ Welcome OP, don't worry about your English, seems pretty much fine to me and any crinkles you have will get worked out if you keep up with it on DLP.

What's your definition of 'good music'?

to me 'good music', is exactly that good music, not a particular artist or genre, but a good melody played by good artists, be it jazz, classical, some progressive and symphonic rock, the beginning of house music when it was a smooth clash of rock and jazz, some south American rhythms it all depends if I'm in a 3 hour drive with friends or reading poetry while being as high as kite.

Yeah, you're response to the question of music is definitely deserving of a welcome. I'm of a like mind in that regard. Any particular artists or songs you enjoy?

    Edit: FUCK. HAIKUS.

Tanks for the welcome, in jazz everything with a powerful sax, in the beginnings of house, i enjoy yello a german duo, manu chao as driving music, in the rock department Santana's the calling and put your lights on, paint it black by rolling stones, then there is pink floyd, new world order and the "The The" album mindbomb. Among many others.

Well..."The message" from Fernando Pessoa its a poetry book and i think there are translations in English, Orwell's 1984, Huxley's "brave new world", Boris Vivian's Foam of Days, everything by Camus, Sartre "L'âge de raison", Proust, a Portuguese writer Eça de Queirós os Maias most of Fedor Dostoevksy works, if can find a good translation Faust and of course Nietzsche books.

    syllables, not words, you tard.
    Learn to use haiku.

    @OP:
    Welcome newcomer.
    Don't mind the silly haiku,
    It is just a phase.

    Nonsense, haiku are
    forever, you silly goose.
    New standard, they are.

(I know it's five-seven-five, but is there some other requirement to them that I'm doing wrong? >_>)
