Any specific songs you would recommend?

I'm the same, I love that song, such a good one to listen to before going out onto the field before a game.

Kokomo by the Beachboys was the first song I listened to over and over again. After that is was Paradise by the Dashboard Light by Meatloaf.

Roy Orbison, Pretty Woman... I was like six, singing that song all the time. In retrospect I think thats where my inner manwhore began.

Whisky in the jar from Thin Lizzy. My father used to play it whenever we were driving around while I was still a wee little boy. Still my absolute favorite.

Can't buy me love - The Beatles.

My grandfather used to play it in the car when I was growing up in South Africa. I've grown to love the beatles more and more as I've aged, and that song will forever be one of my favorites of theirs.

I was four or five when I got obsessed with that, and I never understood the weird looks my mom gave me until I got my first "Don't do drugs"-type talk.

    "Bad Moon Rising" by CCR.

But only because I thought the chorus went: "There's a bathroom on the right."

I lol'd. My dad encourages me to smoke weed.

The Beatles have obviously left a lasting impression. Eleanor Rigby and Help! were some of my old favourites. I have all of their albums. Every single one.

    Those two are great.

I saw Her Standing There is awesome as well, and pretty much all of that era.

Oh, and Don McLean (Vincent) was my second phase.

Guns 'n' Roses cover of Bob Dylan's "Knockin' on Heaven's Door"

I still emulate Axl's little 'hey, hey hey hey' all the time

"House of fun" by some Ska band called Madness, took me about 7 years to realise it was about buying condoms.

My childhood destroyed in one fell swoop.
