Twice in the last month I've gone on a Hawaiian/Tahitian mythology wikipedia binge, and I find myself becoming increasingly enamored with the pantheon. All the gods and goddesses are just savage as fuck.

Does anyone have any good fantasy novel recs that heavily incorporate polynesian lore into their world-building?

Nation by Pratchett is set in basically in a sort of fictionalised version of Polynesia. It has gods, or possibly not, it's a bit hard to say, the main charecter basically disavows them. Still it is a good book and the gods are a bigbpart of it even if it does not explicitly utilise the Polynesian pantheons.

I know this may be bumping an old thread but I'd recommend Sixth of the Dusk which is a novella by Brandon Sanderson. Pretty quick read and definitely inspired by Polynesian culture.
