Why was I not informed of this?!

I somehow missed an entire live-action Death Note series.

It ran from July 5, 2015 to September 13, 2015.

It seems I have to watch it now. I feel obligated even it if turns out to be bad.

 

Watched the pilot episode in summer. Just couldn't get into it after watching the anime.

 

I remember watching a live action version of Death some time ago. Maybe a year, maybe more. Not sure if it was this one. It lasted up until Light's induction into the investigation team.

It was okay. Good, even, but it deviated from the anga/anime several times.

 

I think you might have seen the live action movie, which was released in 2006.

There were two of them, the first one as you've said ends with Light entering the investigation team and the sequel ends the story.

However, there was also a third movie focusing on L where he fights against terrorists.

 

I haven't seen the second or third one, even though I'd looked for them at the time. Do you know where I can find them?
