    Yes, I fully agree. That was probably one of the better scenes in the game, despite how much I liked Mordin. A really, really good example of the fact that a scene doesn't have to be absolute bullshit to be "bittersweet". Honestly, I cannot word it better than ElDee. And even though the entire scene is centered around Mordin's choice, you still do get a choice. The choice to argue helplessly and then eventually give in to what your friend wants.... Or ruthlessly shoot him in the back and...

    That's the problem with attempting to explain the motivations of beings that commit genocide. No matter what, they're always going to be shit reasons. If they wanted to leave some goddamn mystery in the series, that could have been accomplished simply by not explaining why the reapers do anything. Like THIS. FUCKING THIS.     I got about 25 hours out of my first playthrough, had maybe 6700 EMS. But then again I got 26 hours out of a full ME2 playthrough with every sidequest done, and all DLC but Overlord. I believe that my first 4 ME2 playthroughs were longer, at least by a little. I think the primary difference is that ME3 is more streamlined, and the sidequests aren't as hard to find. Sure, it's a bit shorter, but not by much. The ending is where ME3 fails. This amused me. (Spoilers)

    Mass Effect 3, despite my hatred of the first two hours, was good, in my opinion. Despite some major flaws. Your choices from the first two games matter for the most part. Even things from ME1 that didn't matter in ME2 turn up. However, the ending... The last five minutes of the game horrified me. They built it up so incredibly well, and then crushed any hope I had.     As said above, the accuracy thing is standard fare for an RPG. Though to be honest, I never even really noticed it in ME1. I played a soldier first, way back when the game came out. Ever since then, my other playthroughs have been as biotics and sentinels. I had no trouble with guns or cover during the game.     Then they shouldn't have bothered buying ME2, because the exact same thing happened. By packaging, I was primarily referring to the Origin people. If Origin and ME3 work the same way ME2 did, you never have to start up Origin again after you install the game. Ever. Not buying the game because of it seems ridiculous, at least in my opinion.     It definitely wasn't hated, but the most common complaint I've heard about Mass Effect 2 was the story. It was and is an incredibly common complaint. I read several posts above yours, and what did I see? And Midknight is not the only one. Not even close. It's a common complaint, and a fair one.
