    I can think of at least two, arguably three, cards that are far more problematic inherently than a card that's supposed to beat control specifically beating control and being a tiny bit on the strong side doing so.

    Top two popularity decks. Note the discrepancy and the WR of Control Warrior. (If I sorted by win %, it's third on the list, behind a different list of CW that's been played only like 1000 times and a very niche big spell list with <1000 plays.) [ATTACH] Mech was ubiquitous where I was at (dumpster tier where I belong), Secret's apparently better at it. (And I went to that because the only crafts for it were crafts I was going to make anyway). Murloc Pally is going to get figured out soon...

    The brand of Hearthstone (Baku and Genn are getting HoF'd for a reason, royally slow adjustments on cards cf. the Druid and Hunter changes) and Blizzard (which is legitimate 'living under rock' territory, sorry) itself haven't had the best year from a consumer's perspective to say the least.

    I'm assuming it's going to be the cheating mechanic itself that gets the hit, not VL or Doomguard. VL is fine on 9 mana, it's the 5 mana Recruit (and the unstoppable 6 mana heal 8 combo) that's the problem. Lackey's probably going to get bumped upwards.

    Ladder is filled with the most idiotic decks right now. Quest Rogue is back (and to those who like it, people also like Snarry. This is not an excuse for you), Divine Favour is still its complete and utter bullshit that it has always been (it is fun and interactive having a T3 draw 5 used against you because you didn't play anything that affected your hand size negatively), and then there is the current lack of badly statted 10 mana cards that kind of makes Spiteful even more powerful than...

    Coin isn't a card in deck, as Quest Mage has established extensively. I also remember reading that a Malchezaar wouldn't affect any 'odds only' cards, but I'd have to go look for the source. Probably somewhere on the subreddit.

    'Whenever a minion dies, cast its battlecry' or something similar was what I was going for. Brann itself wasn't OP, but the interactions it enabled were bullshit and you know it. Leaving the 'oh, hey, I'm going to mill you for 6 cards from a half-full hand' shenanigans for what they were, Brann + jades/C'thun, Kazakus, Drakonid, Netherspite, Abyssal, Houndmaster were all incredible swings, and at 4hp, he had a body that had the potential of sticking around even if played on curve due to...

    You're projecting so hard it actually becomes funny in a twisted way, and it's affecting your ability to read. Kingsbane and DMH Warrior currently run Coldlight, and while I'll join the thousands of voices saying "didn't see that one coming", I'm not exactly against it either. It is probably one of the more exponential battlecries out there at the moment, and it is sodding cheap. If Team 5 has plans to make a card that affects battlecries in some way - think of an Umbra-esque legendary...

    Rule of thumb: if you can Jade, Jade. I need to do Warrior, Paladin, Mage still. Darkness did bullshit things to my Elemental Mage earlier today, and I've lost two 7-win runs of Warrior to Darkness (gambled and lost) and Vuzstraz (outtempo'd into being forced into Brawl) in the last 6 hours.

    I would contend that it is actually faster than you think on 90 turns, because if you play it out, there's a point reached where both players just press the button. Still bad, tho. I saw the Savjz comment (through Kibler), which was why I raised the point in the first place.

    That ends in a draw, which is kind of useless in the format that Hearthstone tournaments use. You could probably weave in something for the Swiss rounds, sure, but imagine a Fatigue Warrior vs Fatigue Warrior on 2-2 in the knock-out phase. How do you do that?

    Yeah, I picked Ukraine as well. So, minor annoyance, but didn't you promise actually tricky PvE content this time, Blizzard? I haven't had to change away from my Control Paladin ladder deck once.     This is an article that's got a few good points about discard. Originally it was for Fel Reaver, but it applies just as much for Gnomeferatu, just in reverse. Stonehill is the slower of the two, but I think it's one of the most influential cards to come out of Un'goro, and it's definitely worth a think of including it. Personally, I would more be looking to replace Demonfire or Bloodfury, but I never was much a fan of those cards anyway.

A meh haul, but the ones I wanted, so... I crafted Lich King, will decide later on rest. Golden Snowflipper Penguin, tho. And I just killed Lord Marrowgar with Exodia.
