    Yeah, it's too late. For me anyway. As much as my love for Umbreon is as strong as my love for Gengar, you can't have a game released for so long and be so... poor. The best things about Go had nothing to do with the game itself for me. Imagine it had the polish of FE:Heroes.

    Rumours abound that they secretly made pokemon 50% more difficult to catch - which seems about right from my experience. Hit a 400 Bulbasaur twice with 'great',razz and ultra ball, it ran. I suppose they didn't like how quickly people were mowing through what little content the game has.

    Because the tracker is broken. That's why those scanners are needed. Now they're removing the scanners and the in game tracking, so there's no 'game' in hunting pokemon now, just whatever you stumble upon. If the point of the game to you is just socialising, power to you.

    What 'game' exactly? The only fun thing about Go was seeing that rare pokemon pop up on your tracker and hunting it down. Well, rip to that. Or maybe you liked bashing your screen to 'battle'. Each to their own I guess.

    I think the longevity short term will come from getting the 3rd tier evolutions. I have nothing really common enough in my area to make that happen quickly, my highest being Bulbasaur at 48 candies. Though I heard about a nifty Gastly haunt (hurhur) nearby that i'll be checking out. Dratini too, but that beach isn't that close.

    2km are actually kinda valuable too. Unless you get Ratata or Zubat. You can get: Pidgey, Weedle, Caterpie (great for levelling) The starters Pikachu Jiggly Magikarp And a few others.

    I've got an annoying bug where, no matter how far I am from any pokemon, it'll constantly register as 3 'paws' away. I've done thorough testing. I'm not being stupid. Caused me to miss out on Rhyhorn/don, Marrowak, Hitmonlee, Charmeleon and Dragonair... I'm not pleased...

    In case you didn't know, don't forget to use Razz Berries with tough pokemon. Makes your next throw higher%. I think you start getting them at 6-8. No need to hoard either, you get plenty.

    I'm 40 mins outside Melbourne. There's nothing directly outside my house, but I drive ten minutes up the road and there's like 20 within 1.5km radius. You only need two that are 5 mins apart though tbh. I did that until i found my hotspot.

    Lol, I've a route I've been driving around within a 1km radius that has 11 stops, no down time, that's next to a school, so there's always lures up. Route probably takes 6-7 minutes, so I'm never waiting for resets... The route also has a lake I can park at and walk around to hatch eggs and catch Omanyte/Kabuto. Yep. I've MMO'd real life. Get on my level.

It means you're kind of limited in what you level based on what you hatch, but sometimes you get this: [IMG] Hatched my lil sea ferry from a 10k egg, along with a whole bunch of candy. I caught that Electabuzz, which would probably be my most OP pokemon right now (gyms full of flyers in my area; Pidgeot, Fearow, Dodrio, Golbat, Scyther etc) if I could level it, but given its rarity, its candies are super hard to come by. I do think it's kinda...

    Went out for some night time adventuring, caught an Ivysaur and 2xScyther (in a small protected wildlife reserve, ironically. That make me a poacher...?). Buzzed, I decided to stomp a gym... Get to the last pokemon, servers apparently crashed because I get to the last pokemon and It can't be killed at 1hp... Figured servers must have crashed later when I got the infinite pokeball loading emblem of doom. Fml. Somehow I know this is America's fault...
