    I actually liked what they did with God. It gave stakes back to the series. I was still get annoyed at the "God keeps bringing me back" nonsense that happened to the characters. It devalued death even further than it had already been.     It was supposed to end in May, but they were forced to shut down production before they could shoot the last episode. So the network decided to hold back the episodes that were already filmed and wait until the finale was filmed before airing them.

    Season 13 premiered tonight and was solid. For a show this old, its impressive the quality hasn't gone over the cliff yet. A part of the reason I found it good was that it didn't waste time on repetitive Castiel and Crowley storylines.     I definitely wasn't expecting to have to take a Ghostfacers episode so seriously. The actors were shockingly good at the drama, but it was definitely unexpected. The episode itself was nothing special, but I suppose the novelty of seeing Ed and Harry again made up for it.

    If I remember correctly, the female characters in season 3 were forced onto the writers by the network. Back then Supernatural was surrounded by a sea of female-centered shows like Gossip Girl, One Tree Hill, etc. Backlash was imminent, especially because they had the girls constantly one-up the brothers.     Dean has been increasingly unlikable since season 4. I'm surprised he hasn't suffocated under the weight of his own self-righteous hypocrisy yet.     The episode wasn't great, but the guest stars did well enough to keep me entertained. Michael was pretty good and Kate was brilliant, but it seems kind of stupid of them to make an episode with so little Sam and Dean and put it at the beginning of the season.

    Yeah, Dean spouting about the natural order was hypocritical considering the reasons why he and Sam are still alive. The "fancy lady" was awesome. I was sad to see her go like that. It's somehow fitting that the only polite person on this show is the ghost of a long dead hooker.

    As much as Dean annoyed me, he did have a point. They all know that when you stay behind as a ghost you eventually lose your sanity and will become one of the things they hunt. That didn't stop him from being an absolute dick about it though.

    This week was pretty boring. The demon storyline was predictable (not to mention that the "twist" was constantly advertised in the promos), and the acting from that Jeffrey guy was horrid. Dean was just... there. Sam and Lucifer are what made this episode worth watching. Their interactions were hilarious. Its nice to have Lucifer back and screwing with Sam again.     Sam has been my favorite part of this season. I liked the kid last night, she was a competent young hunter. Dean wasn't as annoying as he usually is; I liked his interactions with Krissy. Him freezing up during the confrontation at the end doesn't bode well for Sam, having an unreliable partner. Is it just me or has the show spent so much time showing Dean circling the drain that they've forgotten about Sam's supposedly crippling mental problems?

    Very good episode, from the ghosts to the damsel of the week. It really did feel like a season 1 episode. Loved that. I'm seriously tired of the show always portraying Dean as in the right no matter what the situation. I wanted Sam to punch his lights out after Dean told him he was being a bitch.

    I feel the same. Every time James Marsters pops up I want to see more of him. I felt this in Buffy (until showcasing him detracted from the show), Smallville, and Hawaii Five-0. They left Don alive, so there is always the faint possibility of bringing him back.

    I liked tonight's episode. James Marsters and Charisma Carpenter were great. They had a great dynamic. Did anyone else notice the Giles and Willow paintings at the art auction?     The overreactions annoy me. Some people act like this is the worst episode ever. There have been quite a few worse episodes over the course of the series. So far this season is starting out better than season 6 did.

    I thought this was a great one. Sam, Dean, and Bobby all had equally compelling things going on. I like how the Old Ones get their knowledge from their hosts, it makes for amusing moments such as "Are you a Dr. Sexy?" I'd almost forgotten how awesome Lucifer was. I'm glad he'll be sticking around a while.
