And the general rule of the Archives is, it isn't necro if you contribute something decent to the thread. You didn't. Last post was nearly a month ago...why bother?

 

This has to be one of the more over-powered locking spells I've seen, certainly doesn't resemble Colloportus much. The explanation we get later on doesn't make this sequence fail less at all.

It's quite obvious now that the author didn't pay much attention to spell descriptions. Those inconsistencies with canon feel really jarring to me.

I though't I'd already seen most of the worst Gringots scenes, looks like I was wrong.

Any sane reader would've stopped long before this point, now it's quite hard to get away from that train wreck.

Considering the fact that this story hits all the Independent!Harry clichés, it's not a surprise that the author decided to replace the Prophecy with some drivel, introducing another fail concept in the process.

I sincerely hope that this sequence hadn't been posted when the OP made this thread.

And I'm done.

Dialogue and obvious spelling mistakes don't help this story's readability at all either.

In closing: This story was absolute shit long before Harry turned gay without any prior development.
