    Why does Microsoft Word have such a shit spell check, where as Google, and even my iPhone, get what I mean to say 99% of the time?

    Word will suggest the wrong word, not give the right one even as an option, and fix grammar that isn't wrong.

    I'll copy from word into gmail, and that has to fix it into what is correct.

    I find it amazing Word after all there years is so shit at a basic spell check.

    It's not connected to the internet is the short version, but really that's not an excuse for the grammar.

    Mines mostly great, very intuitive for what I meant rather than what I typed.

    Gboard has a wonderful tendency to change a real word into nonsense, or only correct a word at the beginning of a sentence the second I hit send on a message, resulting in nonsense. Do all my writing on my laptop in Vim which has no autocorrect, so I'm safe there.
