    The God of Death

    Crossover: Warcraft/Warhammer 40k
    Author:Tyrant of the East
Summary: The Death Spectres of the Adeptus Astartes have served the Imperium for nine thousand years. They have stood against the tide of damnation that threatens the very existence of mankind. Now, one space marine finds himself stranded on a world called Azeroth

Wow, just wow. The fanboy within is squealing at the awesomeness that this guy managed to bring with this crossover. At first I was skeptical. How the hell you can bring a Space Marine into Warcraft world without unbalancing the warcraft's world?

This fellow actually managed to do it!

I do really like this story, the author is handling the writing and integration quite well and the inner problems of a Space Marine meeting and dealing with Xenos are quite interesting. Additionally we are promised that at some point Avarian (the Space Marine) will have a challenge in combat, although we haven't seen that yet. Rather to date he's blown through all enemies like a buzz saw.

Still its a fun read, more for 40K fans then for Warcraft fans I think. There hasn't been any amazing scenes yet that would make it truly exceptional, but its a good fun read with a great update rate.

    4/5 at this point.

Excellent! Easily four stars. And if it ever becomes more than a 40K wank, even five stars wouldn't be out of the question.

Have you read the same author's 40K/Twilight xover? It's quite lulzy.

Awesome find! I am loving this section. It's better than the HP Review thread.

Have thee a hole in thy side, BloodRedSword? You seem to be regularly violated in that fashion.

Jokes aside, having starting reading this story being linked from here, I'm surprised that I forgot to rate/review it until now.

While the background female romantic intrigue plots can be semi-silly, they do make a sort of sense considering how people generally strive to join with the greatest power politically, if nothing else.(His physicality being occasionally expounded on though is... eh)

Aside from that, the author has done an admirable job integrating what parts of the Warhammer 40k universe that he has used into the Warcraft universe so far. Avarian is understandably powerful, but not infallible either.

All said, it might have its bumps, but I'll still give it a five out of five.
