Really enjoyed this. I do agree that the characters feel more 25 than 35 though, so that threw me a little. Would have enjoyed more detective work from Harry's side, but I get that it's not that kind of story. I also feel like its obvious what's going on with the aurors from the get go.

It’s so nice to see smut and plot given equal attention in a fic, rather than one being rushed to get to the other. 5/5.

 

There really isn’t much to fault here, which isn’t terribly surprising coming from Annerb.

As always with this author, characterization was absolutely on point. Ginny, Harry, Ron, and Hermione all feel like perfectly natural extensions of their canon selves.

The only major issue here was just maturity. They read like twenty year olds, but I suppose there isn’t that much of a maturity difference between the late twenties and mid thirties.
