Ha, beat Xion to it!

Anyways, today’s chapter was friggin great. This fic has kinda just been fluff with the occasional thing happening for reasons, all wonderfully written of course, but this chap is Annerb at her best. Really explains the fast couple of updates we’ve had as well, she was obviously working up to this chapter and the next one.

To all those that dropped Armistice for a while, you’re going to want to pick it up again. Maybe wait a couple of days though, it’s a cliffy.

 

This chapter really pulled at my heartstrings, especially the part where they're (effectively) discussing and planning long-distance together. Man I love this story (though it's far more just a relationship story, albeit linked to the characters in a clear way, then it is a HP story).

 

Well, it looks like this is officially finished.

I’ve got to say that this is, by far, one of the best series in the fandom in my opinion. Of those three, the third ‘book’ really shines as a quality piece of writing and an exemplar of a drama or romance.

It’s got its problems: A few fandom tropes that seem unnecessary or a little overdone, but its nothing that isn’t easy to overlook or digest and accept.

5/5 for me.

 

Second the above entirely.

This series is hugely meaningful to me on a personal and emotional level. Its the first romance I enjoyed as a romance, and made me feel the sorrow and joy of the characters at each turn. It also matured as a relationship alongside my own - with long distance, disagreements and love all featured. As I've said elsewhere, I appreciate the way it describes a relationship not as a struggle towards perfect happiness, but as an ongoing conversation between two very different people who have to work at it and who will inevitably screw up.

Easy 5/5, one of my all-time favourites.

Also, I don't think the series is over. I believe I've seen things on their tumblr that imply it will be continued.
