Good first chapter to remind me of everything that happened in Battle Ground. But I don't understand why Harry is so upset, doesn't he already know from Ghost that there is an afterlife?

 

...you mean, why is he upset that the woman he loves died? Beyond the obvious, IIRC at the end of Battle Grounds, Murphy was going to become a Valkyrie, but that means she can't return to earth until there's no one left there who knew her, or some such, so in theory Harry won't ever see her again (of course, there's a lot of precedence for Harry doing the impossible, but y'know)

 

I thought she was going to be an Einherjar. That said, I am all in on Valkyrie Murph.
