    Title: 18 Drops of Blood
    Author: Ceris Malfoy
    Rating: M
    Genre: Romance
    Pairing: Usagi & Alucard
    Link: FFN
Summary: 18 themed drabbles that tell a larger story. Alucard/Usagi

When I first saw this fic, I only read it to see how bad it will be. But I must say it's surprisingly good. Not amazing, but considering what it is about, it's much better that I would think it could be. I give it 3.5/5 rounded to 4/5 because I still can't believe someone could pull this off without making it extreme crack fic.

There is also companion fic about reactions of other characters to this strange romance - From A Splintered Vein.

I opted to read this, and the reactions side-story, in a fit of boredom-turned-interest. More for the Hellsing than Sailor Moon, but... eh.

Most definitely an unexpected pairing, if nothing else.

For what it's worth, the author does put forth a compelling argument, if you can let slide the initial implausibility of the primary premise of Alucard desiring to court Usagi in the first place.

I would say the the side-story, showing individuals' reactions, complements it immensely though.(and it's twice as long, for that matter)

I would rate this between a three and a four, rounded down to three, because I feel that by itself(without the side-story), it simply isn't complete enough for a four.
