    Warning - This story is disturbing.

    But it has everything a oneshot needs. The author prepares the stage, arranges the setting, lets his characters interact plausible and authentic, and offers the reader a believable conclusion. The story flows almost perfectly. The way it provides an insight into the main character grabs the attention of the reader and takes hold of him until the end. It is a short story with even Hemingway-esque elements – if one counts food-shopping as hunting-scene. Therefor I nominate this story for the One-Shot Award.
