Those of you who see my political posts know I lean more towards the Radical Leftist ideals, but even I'm impressed by this.

IMHO, this is Capitalism in its most positive form, but I thought it'd be intriguing to see other's opinions.

Their system does seem like one that would benefit the U.S.-based companies ATM, though the difference between industries & management probably won't allow the fat cat's to switch over, or they may just ignore it until they're way too far in the pit.

    Thoughts?

Note: This may belong in MD, thought it fit here better, and that people that avoid MD would still have an op. to lend their thoughts. It is, as always, at the staff's humble discretion.

    Sounds GREAT!!!

These are the types of programs I love.

    GREAT stuff!

I STRONGLY believe in providing worker incentive. It makes people have a vested interest in the product.

I can see how this would work well, and I agree with most of it... However it sort of reminds me of the parts of Orwell's 1984 that deal with industry.

With that said, I wouldn't mind working at a place like that.

:?: Unless I misread it, wasn't industry merely a means to get rid of excess and keep the people busy in 1984?

I think it's a great plan. If a lot more companies did that I can bet the economy would be a hell of a lot better. Too bad it doesn't go that way in the medical field.

Yeah pretty much... And supposedly they were rewarded for their performance.

I was just pointing out the potential for abuse of this system if it becomes widespread in a fascist leaning state.

Nah, 1984 they worked to keep the war machine going constantly, and their wars with "East Asia" and the other place.

Certain industries existed to keep the masses placated if I recall correctly (its been around 5 years since I read it.)
