Hmmm... I was just wondering what evil Dark Lords or especially Voldemort are doing when they are not summoning their servants, killing nasty enemies or partaking in gruesome rituals. Can you imagine Voldemort doing sport?

I can imagine Voldemort enjoying reading, wine, fine food, creating spells and new magic, plotting, getting into futile arguments with people over the internet and then finding them and killing them, looking at his fine snake-like visage in a mirror, enjoying the company of his more sophisticated followers, such as Lucius Malfoy, and maybe even listening to music.

Voldemort is currently a struggling artist living in London. Whilst he's not petrifying artistic looking statues, he enjoys listening to death-metal music such as cannibal-corpse, buying fancy suits and going clubbing in the ever growing Vauxhall gay-scene.

Did you notice there is only one girl in his inner circle and she's supposed to be ugly as fuck?...

Ugly Bella? O.O Does not compute...
Maybe after Azkaban, but I've always imagined her as being pretty hot in her youth.

Oh she's just the epitome of "hot"... I bet you think a younger Molly Weasley was too. ;)

    Not from teh movies silly.
Silly Warner Brothers makes all the villains ugly so little kiddies do not succumb to the darkside. I imagined her completely differently.

Back on topic, I've always thought of Voldemort as a ping-pong kind of guy...

I read one rather funny fic once in which he made all the Death Eaters dress up in ball gowns and have tea-parties with him, much to their chagrin.

    Edit:
    Alecto Carrow, Bellatrix, Narcissa.....

It was never said wether Narcissa was marked was it? And even if she is, I do not think she would be in the Inner Circle.

There was never any proof of any such thing as an inner cicle. It seems to me that Voldemort prefered to continually play his followers off each other, and never give any one follower a position of security. You can drop from his most favoured to the bottom of the pile in but a moment, and vice versa.

Guess youre right. I haven't read the books in years. I've even read the seventh book only once. I often confuse it's content with one fanfiction or other..barmy meeeh

    I think he's a violinist.

Peter, in his rat form, cowered under the couch while Voldemort stood naked in the center of the room, singing and playing the violin with vigor.

Playing off his followers might be a pasttime in itself.

He'd play life-size chess, using his followers as his own pieces and captured mudbloods as his opposition.

Naturally, captures would be accomplished via the Killing Curse, and the mudbloods would have no wands. Or hands, for that matter.

I could see him having sophisticated tastes...maybe he'd seek out more 'trophies' and whatnot, if he had time off from plotting. Old magical artifacts that don't make his 'To Be A Horcrux' list, but are still nice to look at.
