I've watched one complete playthrough. Not crazy enough to pay $500 for the privilege to play a remaster (even if I had the money). Very pretty game, but it's still just demon souls, and the souls series has come a long way since it first came out. Simplistic bosses, sluggish movement, archaic healing system. Other than the graphics, it seems more like a blast from the past than a hint at the future.

 

And inside that box.... is Bloodborne 2

 

It's just Penetrator armor set.

 

Demon's Souls made the PS5 a day one for me, but it turned out to be a blessing in disguise that I couldn't get my hands on it.

As pretty as the remake looks, it's just the same old game with a new coat of paint. I'm not going to blow nearly $600 on the kind of janky, work-in-progress first game in the sub-genre.

I'm bound to get it some time in 2021 or 2022, but I can just finish my Luck build in Dark Souls 3 or my Bloodtinge run in Bloodborne in the meantime.
