    I was wondering if you could somehow not receive emails from yahoo groups. I just join Yahoo Groups for the files uploaded there, not to get my email cluttered. Worse still, the messages are sent to the Inbox instead of Bulk/Spam, so I can't empty it out in one fell swoop.

    Does anyone know a feature that blocks the messages? I've about received the last porn advertisement on Demon God of Chaos' group that I have patience for.

    I believe on the YahooGroup setting itself there is a function (within the Profile) that can block mail from the group/members of the group. HPRecyclingBin was really annoying for a long time -- "does anyone have any good slash with Sevy and Harry?!"

    Exact links:
    http://groups.yahoo.com/mygroups?o=8

    ->Edit my groups
    -> Change "message delivery" options.

    Hope that helped.

    What he said. I don't get emails from any of the yahoogroups I'm in because I always sign up and select "No Email" or read on web or whatever it's called.

    If you still want some messages you can change it to Daily Digest instead.

    Daily Digest is the best option, IMO. Though sometimes I get one or two individual mails that are in the Daily Digest too. Dunno why.

    I usually set mine to 'web only' so I don't get ANY emails - I can go read them at the website itself...

    Thanks! You guys are the best.

    My Inbox was constantly in the 800's, and I literally only joined up 6 Yahoo Groups.

    The chatty fuckers.

    Yes. It is quite annoying. I had to do the "web option" myself. You'll get junk mail up the ass.

    Lol. They all get sent to one of my unused email addresses. That way, I always have a log of all the messages, but they don't clutter up my primary email.

    That is what I do as well.

    My very first email address has become the home for all the Yahoo groups crap that comes my way. Matter of fact, I haven't even open that email in about 6 months... :eek:

    That's certainly a long time and definitely full of junk by now. Its most likely in the thousandth's by now! Better off not going there, lol.
