I thought she tried to tell him and he blew her off? Am I misremembering that?

Would like a "Both physically and mentally." option. Which of the two presents the limiting factor is highly dependant on the situation and the wizard in question.

I'd like to see this being broken down into two questions.
    a) They can be moved to a safe place and wont harm anyone.
    b) They will terrorize and kill both muggles and wizards at random.

That's the full extent to which Hermione explains her concerns to Harry before going to McGonagall.

    Definitely misremembered that.
So while she did try and say something, she didn't mention Sirius until the broom is confiscated.

So I was quite interested in the results of the survey, but it seems like people are trolling? Unless out of 44 participants as of the moment I'm writing this, 15 are 61 or older, 16 are non-binary, 17 are from Africa, 18 are asexual and 16 are Jewish, and 18 are so rich that they don't need to work? Especially comparing the results with the results from last year, it's clear that people are just trolling.

    Yes, regrettably it seems so.

As with HPFF, people who play stupid games win stupid prizes. Survey is now offline.

I wonder if there's a way to tie it to DLP login to prevent trolling.

I tried to submit my response, but I got an error message.

Shame that people were misusing the survey. I don't recall this happening in previous years.

If you put this up on HPFF and people fucked with you, I'd put easy money on them following you here to do the same.

Looking through the entries, it appears that the survey was brigaded, likely by a single individual or group, with the aim of putting (1) absurd answers in the demographics and (2) "anti-DLP consensus" answers for the HP questions.

    Those anti-DLP answers were consistently:

    Favourite character: Hermione
    Hated character: Harry Potter
    Favourite book: HBP
    Hated book: POA
    Anti-Dumbledore
    Hermione beats Harry in duel
Dumbledore can't beat 4 Aurors or more
    Temporary transfiguration
    Muggles can brew potions
    Shields can't stop bullets

Basically, it seems to be likely to have originated from a Mugglewank Harmonian type. Very possibly not a DLPer at all.

I'm going to go ahead and blame Starfox's merry Discord of people butthurt about DLP.

That was in 2020; the 2021 HPFF survey appears to have been largely ok. Probably there was some trolling but the sheer volume of responses cancels it out.

    @Taure

Maybe ask a mod if there's a way to limit thread access to logged-in users? Gotta be a way to do that.

Starfox has an anti-DLP Discord? That's hilarious

The WbA is only viewable to logged in users. Though they still only need the link to cause havoc. So anyone with an access to the WbA (or any other place with the link) can grab it and share it with the troublemakers.

Giving out the link to "know user" via PM or similar solutions would perhaps work. But it would significantly increase the amount of work required and severely limit the number of responses.

You should repost the survey, enough time has passed.

I am curious as to why this thread is still pinned though, if the actual survey was ruined.
