Going into the playoffs I really was pretty okay with any combination of teams in the Super Bowl minus Patriots vs Eagles. The former since they're always there, and the latter since it's just hard to like the Eagles if you don't live there. At least if they had made it with Wentz I could have rooted for Wentz, but now honestly I'll feel a bit bad for Wentz that his team was captained to a win by Nick fucking Foles (if they win of course) to the first Super Bowl win. It just feels like it should be Wentz out there.

He's an Eagles fan. They're intellectually challenged; there's not much he can do.

    BIG DICK NICK!

But for serious, Eagles team this year is all character guys. You have Malcolm Jenkins, who convinced the NFL's protesting players that 87 million spent on lobbying for criminal justice reform was a win. You have Chris Long, who donates every paycheck to charity. And you have Fletcher Cox, who was sued this season because he cucked some random dude in NC when his wife came to Philly on a work trip.

tl;dr, Cheer for Philadelphia. Our fan base may be full of degenerates who run around in the street with "FUCK MILLIE" banners (which was a great meta criticism of superficial human interest stories) after Skol-fucking the Vikings. However, in our defense, their asshole fans disrespected the Rocky statue and didn't even visit the Art Museum afterward. Who the fuck does that? I get that it's not a midwestern Applebees that treats salt like a spice, but it has more cultural import than the entire state of Minnesota combined. Maybe if they'd gone in they'd realize how truly shitty the Vikings colors really are.

Any interest in doing some prop bets for the game?

Which is fucking weird because Philly's D is fucking stout.

Also, this is one of the best super bowls I've ever seen. Absolute dogshit facefuck of an ending aside.

Was rooting against the Eagles but wow, what a game. Probably best superbowl I've seen.

Wasn't a fan. I prefer games with much better defensive play.

It feels weird that I'm not terribly disappointed at the loss. Maybe because I remember how amazing it is for your team to win that first Superbowl... and I kind of like knowing that a whole fan base is feeling that.

I'm pissed. Awful way to end the game.

Like honestly defense, can you not stop the Eagles once? The entire Patriots defense should be embarrassed about themselves. And, on another note, I don't see what the Lions see in Patricia. He's not some defensive savant like other make him out to be, in my opinion.

I thought it was a fun game. My favorite ad was a local network one from an area attorney:

I may or may not have woken my wife up screaming "this is your legacy now you snake oil selling sack of shit" at the TV after the strip sack of Brady.

Big Dick Nick to the rescue!

Ya. His legacy is his 3rd losing Bowl the year after his fifth winning one.

Nah. More likely his legacy is as the greatest quarterback ever - the fucking asshole.

It's hilarious to me that Brady has lost more super bowls than 23 teams have super bowl wins. He is God, the dick

You know that you really hate a team when you are enthusiastically cheering on their opponent despite normally not caring about said opponent in the slightest.

Any colts fans here? What do you all think of Josh McDaniels backing out of the Colts job like 5 hours too late?
