All right, gents. It's that time again. Our Dynasty draft starts on Monday. @The Waco Kid will go on the clock at 8:00 am eastern time and will have 12 hours to make his selection.

I'd like all of our dynasty league participants to thumb this post so I can tell that everybody's seen it.

We also need to come up with a date for our redraft league. My initial idea is the evening of Friday 8/31. Any thoughts on that?

Also, if there's anybody who isn't in the league already but would like to be, go ahead and post. We'll see if we can accommodate you.

That Friday works for me, although I'm relatively flexible in general.

The Friday is meh, but it's better than any other day that week so sure I guess.

That would be great for me. I'm off from August 31 to Sept 3.

I'd be interested though don't feel super strongly. Point per first down is very interesting to me though.

Does ESPN support points per first down?

I've cut back significantly on my leagues this year and they're finally all on one platform (ESPN), so I'd prefer we stay at ESPN if possible. I'm indifferent to PPFD - it could be cool, but I can't say that I feel that PPR isn't working for me.

ESPN doesn't have it yet, we can talk about it for next year and maybe ESPN will support PPFD by then. Just thought it would be interesting.

    Also thoughts on 2 QB?

    I like 2 QB, but I don't know that it's manageable in a 14-team league.

Would rather stay on ESPN. Prefer full PPR to half PPR but don't care that much either way.

2 QB only works in like, 10 man leagues or smaller imo.

That Friday works fine, later is better.

What could be interesting is superflex.

Superflex functionally is 2 QB, though. Generally the like 28th best QB is still worth starting. I guess I'm not super opposed to it, but if we're running 14 teams I'd rather like... 1 qb 2 rb 3 wr 2 flex 1 te type thing

Agreed Superflex/2QB isn't something I'm in favor of unless we're at 10 players

Prefer to stay with the .5 ppr

Vote to stay with ESPN, as all my leagues are on there currently

I'd be down for no D/ST or K.

Yeah, I'm fine with no kicker or defense, and instead just really deep rosters.

QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 2-3 Flex, TE (could try 2 TE if we wanted to make the position more interesting or add depth to things, as some teams feature multiple TE's in offense, but TE is like...inherently a swingy position reliant on TD's and not sure that's actually good/fun.

Not going to leave you guys in suspense too long.

So with my first ever pick in dynasty I select

    1.01: RB Saquon Barkley NYG

    @silentclock is up

Good to get that suspense over with. With the second overall pick in the 2018 draft, I select Royce Freeman, running back, Denver Broncos.

Which I believe puts @Typhon on the clock.

I'd be okay keeping DST, but dropping kickers, personally?
