Okay, I decided to change my Hotmail password the other day, and I somehow fucked it up. I changed my password 2 days ago, and decided to try and get on yesterday, somehow, for some reason, the password I tried wouldn't work. I believe I typed in the same wrong letter in both fields than I thought I did. Using their "forgot password" option is bullshit, and doesn't show me what e-mail it sent the password to, and there's no other options in getting a new password. It says it sent it to "ri*****@hotmail.com, but I don't know any other e-mails I have besides Richardf269@hotmail.com and my Yahoo e-mail Goku4539@yahoo.com.

Does anyone have any ideas on wtf I can do about this? Their password retrieval thing is horseshit. Thanks.

Well, I'd recommend switch on something a bit more reliable. Gmail, for example, works pretty well (and you'd better have a Gmail account for when Google takes over the world).

I had a hotmail account, but its user interface is quite unpractical, the spam filter is unreliable so I stopped using it. Otherwise, no, there's not really anything you can do. I doubt they have a customer service.

If the password is case sensitive, try typing your password with caps lock on. That's all I can think of.

I put capitals in it, but only 1 letter was capitalized.

flip it around, make your capital lower case, and the rest uppercase, in case your shift key was stuck and the caps were on, variations of that. And I've used hotmail for like 12 years, never had any problems with it.

Oh, if you use Firefox, there's a tool in the settings somewhere that lets you see saved passwords - just in case your browser saves it automatically.
