It's a good fic. It boasts a few cliches that I don't like, namely Ron and Hermione getting exclusive training from the Order to "protect" Harry at school. But still decent, even if the author is slow with updates.

i always wonder why people think there must be a reason to not be friends with them...i mean sometimes people just stop being friends with each other not because the person did domething to them but maybe to others...i know that people just part sometime with out warning so why can harry just part like that?

Golden Trio eh. I think the golden is more the hero worship of Harry and by association making the trio golden. I would think that the golden is some weird reference to 'the light side of the force erm *cough* magic' I mean. Mind you this is probably because if people started running around calling it the 'white' trio people might start getting ideas about them. Especially people in this forum if the newly opened sick & twisted has anything to say about it :roll:

I like this fic the only thing that seems a tiny bit off for me is that I think Blaise let down the walls a bit to quickly. I'm not complaining mind I just think that like 5 paragraphs going from ice queen - time skip description - jumping around crying with happiness due to owl scores. It just struck me as odd, it's just a little thing but I don't really think that if she's spent her entire life being the ice queen she would let down the act after 2 weeks.

 

Golden Trio because they're of course better than anyone not gold, so it's just a way to show their superiority over everybody else, without rubbing it in everyone's face (not really successful), which would be done if they were called the Godlike Trio.

 

ofcourse theirs most people belive it's because their all the high and mights lords of Griffindor( Red and GOLD) I've read one where they were the silver trio Ron is being molested/raped by Percy, Hermiones parents don't want her so she cuts her self and Harry's uncle and them are so abusive he's covered in scars and in their all Slytherin

 

sorry 'bout the double post but it's been updated with a short chapter but over all it was pretty good. tiny bit of ron and hermione bashing. not that great a chapter but very interesting

I hate the "Golden Trio" cliche.

Well actually I just hate 98.4% of them... (the 1.4% of them that I do like is the 5% of Harry that actually has a dick and two nuts in Canon.)

Ron- Jealous Hot-Tempered moron who thinks he is good at strategy "ooh look Harry a brain." Personally I think he was trying to put it in between his ears so he could say he had one.

Hermione- "Books will teach me everything." Thank GOD no one ever gave her a copy of Mein Kampf.

95% of Harry- I don't want to fight... Must be noble... Must be toothless... Must be all bark and no bite... Must be like that little asian guy in the kung fu movies who just sits there and doesnt do shit.

5% of Harry- The only good part... The little asian dude in the kung foo movies who pimps the fuck out of everyone after his whole crew gets destroyed.

This story intrests me... But it needs to update quicker.
