Human motor system changes as we age. Our program will guess your age by analyzing how you click.

It says it will take approximately seven minutes but it took me a lot less than that. Granted I didn't feel the need to stop for "breaks" in between clicking dots.

I'm 29 and it guessed I was 30 -- not bad. I was also on the laptop in a less-than-ideal seating arrangement, so I expect I'd get a "better" score from the desktop. I shall try it later.

Predicted I was 30 as well, but I'm 20. Using a laptop which might have had something to do with it.

It predicted I was 30. I'm 24 and using a desktop with a real mouse, but I've always had kinda shitty accuracy.

    Guessed 29 for me.

    I'm 22. D:

    And pretty decent at Starcraft!

I thought it was going to be a whole different guess.

Do SC2 pros even use the mouse? I thought they were all about the hotkeys.

30, and I'm 23. I missed three times early on, but otherwise thought I was pretty quick.

I'm beginning to wonder if it has to do with accuracy as well as speed. I.e. not just "hitting the red bit" but "hitting the red bit in the center." Maybe I'll test it tomorrow. At any rate, you guys make me feel less bad about my score. ^^

29, and I'm 22 with a desktop mouse. I may have taken a few more clicks than needed to hit the light, but I favor sloppy accuracy whenever I have to deal with surveys and such - I rarely click directly on the focal point if I can just click the text, so I guess bad habits die hard and it slowed me down a little double-clicking when I hit the edge the first time.

Hotkeys aren't so useful for micro/a-moving. Think about splitting marines without using a mouse, as an example. Or, for that matter, attacking anything at all without a mouse. Not target-firing or anything, just attacking.

Guessed I was 10 when I'm 22 but I was using a touchscreen so it was literally as easy a pushing a button. Did they...account for those types of laptops? How old is the study?

Our best guess is that you are 28. Is it close?

^It's a little more than a decade off for me.

    In 2 hours I'll be 20 and it guessed I was 44.
I don't like having aged mouse movements and clicks.

They seem to think people in their early twenties are all korean StarCraft Grand Masters or something. I'm 21 and they said I am 29.
