Greetings all DLPers

Looking for a story with the premise where Hermione dies and exploring the changes it will have on Harry and the rest of the world.
How it might push him to a different path than cannon.
It is preferred if it isn't just Weasley or Dumbledore bashing, and involve Harry truly growing as a person.

Probably one of the better fanfics out there. Not exactly highbrow fiction though. Hermione dies in the troll incident, harry grows a bit as a person as a result, then he becomes a god and fucks every hot chick in the world.

Gotta take the good with the bad with noodle hammer.

 

I liked that story right up until it lost any sort of direction of exploring magic and just turned into a wankfest for the author.

In regards to the Hermione thing, her death is a plot point for a short amount of time and by this point in the story its so differnet from canon that it doesn’t really fit the request apart from the fact that she does die.
