If it's like Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon then I'll watch it.

 

It's not really like Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. If anything it's more emotional. I liked the movie but the plot just dragged on. It was a friggin soap opera with cool martial arts moves. The visuals and cinematics were AMAZING though. I loved the scene with the little game.

 

If you ask me that's the recipe for a kick ass movie.

 

Go Watch HERO, its not in english but its a good movie.

 

The movie "Hero" was amazing also. The plot was better too. Although I recommend watching it in subtitles if you get the DVD. The english dub is really bad.

 

No way! House of Flying daggers was WAY better. Hero was only 3 recounts of the same story with two added scenes and a wardrobe change.

 

I liked Hero better. Especially the ending. Now House of Flying Daggers had a long ending with the whole seasons changing and everything and that girl taking FOREVER to die. And you definately can't say that the fight between Jet Li and Donny Yeh wasn't amazing. With the whole staff and everything. Now I'm not saying that Flying Daggers was bad I just thought that Hero was better.

 

I thought that whole drop of water fight was ridiculous. I mean yes chinese movies have alot of flying and Jesus-esque water walking and what not but they crossed the line to "zomg that's so fake!"

 

I thought it was pretty. Just like I thought the scene with the dance in Flying Daggers was pretty. Both movies are beautiful and well directed. I just thougth the plot in Hero was better. Plus I thought that Zhang Ziyi was annoying in that movie.
