1. Hey Guest, welcome back to DLP

As you can see, we've changed our look. We've migrated from vBulletin to the Xenforo forum system. There may be issues or missing functionality, if you find anything or have feedback, please check out the new Xenforo Migration Feedback forum.

Our dark ("Dark Lord Potter") theme is under heavy development. We also have a light ("Light Lord Potter") theme for those happier with a light background and darker text.

This thread is made of win, although BJ and I runs a close second.

I think it may be a moral obligation for us to visit this board.

You know, it's really only in the US that there's a prohibition on marrying cousins, and even there only on slightly less than half the states.

That's because nature imposed it's own prohibition. It's called genetic deformities.

Actually, the chances of mental or physical deformation is the same in first generation couples. It's only over prolonged inbreeding that the chances of genetic deformation occur. Even then, it's a marginal increase over the regular population.

    e-mail forward, although...

I once made out with a distant cousin at a family gathering (*cue banjo music*). She was my mother's cousin's niece or some shit, which I gather would make her like a third cousin?

So it was the summer when I was 14 and my family drove to Nebraska to see my Grandmother's family, and once we were there the adults were basically like "fuck off and leave the grownups alone, go play with your cousins." We were the oldest, I'd never met her before, and she was SMOKING hot (as 14 year-olds go, anyway). I didn't bang her before we left, but I did get to third base...

Anyway, I haven't thought about her in years, I wonder what she's up to? :awesome

Eh - nothing unusual. My parents are second cousins. Happens a lot. Especially in a small, secluded city with barely half a million inhabitants. You just don't get to meet other people.

And I am sure Syaoran will love that forum.

I think its legal in the UK for 1st cousins to marry, if not some of my richer relatives are probably breaking the law.

Nothing wrong with that IMO, as long as you don't knock her up or decide to marry her all of the sudden.

I don't really understand why someone would go online to share their weird love stories though.
