Dammit I remember a little bit bout this one.He draws up a whole bunch of wards over Gryff common room.They sent Bill to break the wards since it's to strong, weaved so good together,they need a real cursebreaker.While he holds up in there he meets a stubborn girl in the common room,they have a quick banter between them both and a duel I think.He and Bill played games,while Bill taking down the wards, Harry is putting up new ones to hold up the ones that were taken down while bickering back and forth between the Portrait.After a while I think Dumbles convinced Harry to give up and he'll guarantee Harry a fair trial cause the Aurors wre gonna storm up there or he might face more serious charges.I think the Trial takes place at Hogwarts Quidditch Pitch.During the trial Fudge gets killed by Voldemort who appears with his DE's and tries to kill Harry and hell breaks.I think he was being escorted by Aurors to where ever he'd go and he pulled off an escape to the Gryffindor Common room when this all started.

The fic you're looking for was called "Harry Potter Year 6 WAR!" written by dude04. dude04 has a bad habit of giving up on fics and taking them down. This one got to like 15 chapters with Harry on trial in the Quidditch stadium, with a very amusing scene where the Weasley Twins kept score. Sadly it was taken down long ago. I've attached a chunk of it, if anyone's interested. Not sure the author's opinion on sharing, but this is a word doc with only the first 10 chapters.
