    I've recently caught wind of a scandal involving megadouche Nick Simmons and allegations that he's been plagiarizing from Bleach by outright tracing certain scenes and poses as well as stealing original art from users on Deviantart. Way to be original, asshole.

    If you look at the side by side comparisons and overlays, there's no way this kid didn't know he would get caught.

    I don't know how he's going to justify this blatant tracing and lifting of images. I'm pretty sure that Japan has some very stringent copyright laws on images. Shounen Jump might decide to sue his ass for copyright infringement.

    To honest I don't know why he brothered, if the rest of the magazine is of a similar quality as these images, and they must be if it has remained unnoticed for so long, then why trace a couple of images? Hell why not just rip off the idea but do something similar, at least then he would have plausible deny-ability.

    I browsed through one site displaying the images - and he definitely copied Kenpachi.

    Some of the other drawings aren't that obvious, some even might be coincidental. But concerning Kenpachi I think it's save to assume Simmons deliberately created a similar character to rip off as many sketchs of Bleach as possible.

    I am thinking the same, it is not like Bleach is that good of a manga, or even that original, in the first place.

    How did this guy get his comics published anyway? Just from reading the images scanned, Incarnate looks like cliched garbage. Is this how bad American comics have gotten?
