A dramatic futurefic focusing on Damian and Stephanie Brown 8 years after the "current" DCU date.

This is one of the best written fics I've read. There are some humorous moments, but the drama and emotion throughout the whole thing remains top notch...at least, I thought so, until the ending. Which made the whole fic look shabby by comparison.

 

Overall an excellent fic. The main problem for me was the time skips. In particular, the ending was too abrupt. I didn't have any problem with the content of the ending but the way it was just suddenly dropped on the reader was poorly done. 4/5 from me

 

That was so great. Just..... my favourite Batman story I've read.

I would have liked more Jason interaction. But overall it was good, good enough for me to scream MOAR!!!

The timeline frodrick posted sort of has an alternate ending/continuation if you want. Personally, I though it was suitable. We see the trigger for Damian turning into a full-on Killer!Batman in the future.

 

Though I was the one who posted the expanded version/alt ending, I actually like the original much better. It was more real, and kept more with the overall tone of the fic.

That being said, Pink Kryptonite made me lol.
