Summary: What if there were more to Remus Lupin's bite than a badly timed stroll in the woods? Secrets emerge when a feral comes to town...

Despite the almost complete absence of Harry for much of the fic, it does introduce some interesting concepts about werewolves, and the situation that Remus finds himself living with. The writing style puts it leaps and bounds ahead of your average fanfic, and I like how the relationship between Remus and Tonks is not the "I love you, you love me, 'Angst' " that is usually seen. Great characterization, and its nice to see an author who knows the difference between showing and telling.

5/5 if you don't care that it's not really about Harry,
Otherwise by the standards of DLP 4/5.

Took me quite a while to read. Not quite epic range but good. Those of you who don't necessarily need the story to revolve around Harry will enjoy it, the rest of you probably won't as HP makes a grand total of three appearances I believe.

The story itself was well written, and well conceived, the plot was believable, the OC's well rounded, and the plot holes minimal

On the downside the Author decided not to go with cannon on the wolf that bit Remus. Not really a big deal in the overall story, but it threw me a little when I first realized it, and I wouldn't really say that there were any true pairings, Remus/Tonks was the closest, but even they never went past what a good friend would do.

    Overall 4.5/5

Personally, if you add the sequel, then it becomes worthy of the forums. Imperious is one of the darker Remus fics I've read, and the take on the Imperius curse is very unique.

One of the few non-Harry centric fics that I liked. It was an interesting read. Its sequel is even better imo.

    4/5
