Holy shit, this is still around? I thought the author had died from heart troubles. Seeing this brought up is like going through all my old Ranma stuff again. Also, don't forget. Krista Perry finished Hearts of Ice after something like a decade, so I suppose there's always the possibility of this updating.

4/5 for nostaligia purposes, and mostly because I need to read it again.

Since the Ranma Wiki went down years ago it's difficult to really keep track of everything.

 

I read a lot of Ranma fic back in the day, but none of it has really stayed with me like this one. Heck, I don't think any other fanfic at all has stayed with me like this one. It is unique, I think.

Just to namedrop a few other fics I remember as being good (caveat: haven't re-read any of these in many years):

Girl Days was probably the funniest take on the whole Ranma-as-a-girl thing

Destiny's Child was an actually good Sailor Moon crossover

The Taming of the Horse was the Ranma/Akane romance fic I liked the best, I think

The Saotome Gambit was a pretty interesting Battletech crossover space opera


Most of these actually require some knowledge of Ranma 1/2, though, while On A Clear Day mostly doesn't. Since I don't exactly see interest in the Ranma franchise being at an all time high... well.
