    I'm sorry but: LOL!

First question to ask is: Are you the only person that uses this computer? If not, do/es the other people/person have access to your startup folder? (I.E. Are they administrators?)

I once wrote a batch script and put it in the "all users" startup menu that does exactly like what that looks like.

Wow, that's gotta be annoying, never seen anything like that until now. Nice tits on the chick though. Hahaha.

Icons look like a virus or some shit to me.

Militis: My brother uses it, but he hasn't used it in like four weeks.

Argosh: I can delete them but then more files come up. Hence the 3,000.

Could it just be a Zip file or something that keeps redirecting the files to my desktop?

Ok, Safe Mode and delete them?
And check your StartUp folders (your profile & All Users), anything weird there?

When you right click on one and go to properties, what does it say that the target is?

Did you try to open the window explorer and open the desktop folder from there? Maybe there are a few hundred more files there that doesn't show up on your screen due lack of space?

I don't want to jinx myself but it seems that it was just a Zip folder that my computer decided needed to be unzipped onto my desktop. I have scanned my computer with AVG,AVG Spyware, Avira, Avast and Windows Defender. None of them found anything. And it seems to have stopped.

It's definitely the contents of a compressed file. Similar to the ones on a windows cd if I had to take a guess.

Pro Tip: Extract to a folder on the desktop next time.
