What is your favorite sandwich setup? Let’s see em.

    My favorite:
Sourdough bread slathered with hummus, thick slices of honey ham (thicker than regular sandwich slice), provolone, avocado, iceberg lettuce, tomato, Dijon mustard. It’s just glorious, and healthy, too.

Potatobread, ham, chicken breast and dijon. Munster cheese with romaine lettuce and a dash of balsamic vinegar. Or sub potapotbread for onion roll add French onion dip on one side, thick slice of American cheddar the rest stays the same .

Sliced turkey and brie with Sweet-Hot mustard, romaine, and thin slices of red onion, usually on Rosemary-Olive oil bread.

Nothing better than a greasy as fuck Reuben on fresh rye deli swirl bread. Pile on the sauerkraut please.

Nothing wrong with that if you enjoy a vanilla lifestyle.

    Sandwiches are an artform, however.

Nothing wrong with that unless you keep kosher, in which case, it’s a double doozy.

Now if you do keep kosher, there’s nothing better than roast beef and chopped liver with a healthy dose of mustard and bracketed by thick marble rye.

Roast beef, provolone, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and mayo on toasted marble rye.

Not really the healthiest sandwich, but holy hell it's delicious.

Pita, filled with hummus and falafel and French fries with harissa.
It's all about varying the shades of brown in your sandwich.

Some sort of really crusty white bread, roast beef, suuuper sharp cheddar, and chili jam.

Kaiser roll, super sharp cheddar, so sharp it cuts your fucking great grandmother off the family tree, horseraddish. Toast lightly until the cheese just starts to melt.

'Cheese and pickle' is it's own noble and delicious family of sandwiches; I think cheese and horseradish is probably a pretty minor variation on that theme. I prefer most of the cheese and pickle variants with roast beef, but they tend to be good on their own as well.

    Edit:
...aaaaand I'm going to be stealing that description for future use.

Sourdough, chicken breast, bacon, blue cheese, spinach, and thin slices of granny smith apples. Put a weight on that over heat and get that delicious sandwich.

Y'all ain't seen ham and cheese sandwiches yet.

Grab your favourite ham and your favourite cheese. Emmental is a good call, since it has holes in it, and we all know that holes = cheese so more holes = more cheese. Best ham is arguably thin slices of leftover gammon. Try this on for size; sounds kooky, but it works. Ham in coca-cola.

Use your ham and cheese to fill up a batch of croissants, then pack them with cheese sauce in at least two layers in a tin or pie dish.

    Grilled cheese lasagna.

Lasagna isn't a sandwich but it sure should be one.

Large cut pepperoni, mozzarella slice, meatballs w/marinara. Whatever veg you want on a sub sandwich type bun, usually use something really crusty with herbs baked into the outside. I call it a pizza sub. I usually throw on some black olives and a dash of grated parm, maybe some baby spinach for texture.

    Pretty fucking good.

    @Xiph0 Fucking avocado.

Super sourdough (you should wince a little), mayo on both sides, mashed avocado, some good shredded turkey, and some homemade slaw (cabbage and carrots only). Making me hungry thinking about it.

If I want to go full sub: rye bread, mustard, lettuce, some meat, some cheese, very thin slice of tomato, red onion, maybe even cucumber.

I eat sandwiches once or twice a day, so I gotta vary or I'll get bored. I'll steal some recipes here too.
