I am looking for a program that will balance sound from one track of my play list to another.

I am using foobar, is there an option that I am just not seeing?

    Steps to my problem:
    a. Playing a play list
    b. Everything plays just find at a level that I like
    c. A random track plays, and the level of sound drops almost to a whisper
(I think that it is in the way that track was encoded. I think that that is the word I am looking for)
    d. I turn sound up for that track
    e. The next random track makes me ears bleed.

Is there a windows setting or program that will let me set a given volume that I want to play at, and adjust the volume for each track to that one setting? Or a setting in foobar that will do the same thing?

    Thanks

Foobar 2k (ver 0.9.5.5) already does this. File -> Preferences -> Playback -> Replay Gain

Unfortunately, it doesn't do anything if you haven't already Replay Gained your music. So...

There's a lot of friendly info over here: http://www.bobulous.org.uk/misc/Replay-Gain.html
