I never realized that Tetris = Socialism.

I like it, it's catchy and gives a pretty good interpretation of the life of a common worker in the Soviet Union... through the lens of tetris, which is something I'd never thought I'd ever say in my entire life.

 

I hate tetris.

I see something like this and I think, "I'm going to play tetris." Suddenly, it's six hours later and I have a newly remembered loathing for the long piece.

And the damn themesong is going to be stuck in my head for at least a month.

Anywyas, I like it. I showed it to my mother. She spluttered helplessly for the entire time, swore at the video, and told me Stalin was the greatest thing since sliced bread. Ah well.

 

Wait. What? I mean, I'm a socialist and even I'll tell you that Stalin was the worst thing that ever happened to Communism. He has irrevocably stained the ideal with his own brand of totalitarianism and was a butcher unmatched in human history.

My mother lived in Soviet Russia from 1956 to 1986 and is the single craziest person I have ever met. From her point of view, every single thing Stalin ever did was justified by him being Stalin. I'm not entirely sure what the logic is there.
