    Few weeks after defeating Voldemort, Harry is thrown into a strange Orwellian future and gets arrested by a controlling, evil ministry (although it doesn't seem like that ATM). So far, this story feels like a very interesting mix of SF, mystery and suspence, but we'll see how it develops further.

    I agree, very original. I like the fact that the author didn't draw out Harry's stubborness to the point of stupidity like so many others do. Thankfully the writing is fairly good, with minimal mistakes... headache free IMO. I'll need to see more of it before I can comment on the plot, but for now it looks promising.

    Damn, it's so hard to rate abandoned stories which are actually good. In this one, Harry inexplicably gets sent 100 years into the future, only to encounter a very different magical society. The Ministry is involved in some shady stuff, but we never get to see exactly what's going on.

    There's only 14k words here and 5 chapters here, but it's pretty strong work. And yet it's been abandoned for almost three years. I'd give this a 4/5 if it were longer, but this is really nothing more than a promising start.
