You ever go hunting for your favorite TV shows from when you were a kid, isn't it awesome when you actually find an episode of it?

Have any of you gone digging for you old favorite cartoons? If so post a link to em here and we can make fun of each other.

Yeah, Rostam named a few of my favorites.

Rugrats - I'm not ashamed to say that it used to be my favorite show at one point. D:

Pinky and the Brain, of course. Anybody on IRC knows I love this show even now.

Angry Beavers was awesome, I completely forgot about that. As was AHHH! Real Monsters. All That was fucking amazing with the original cast (got gradually worse with new additions), and so was Are You Afraid of the Dark?

And holy shit, I haven't even thought about BeetleJuice in probably a freaking decade. Jeez, that brings back good memories.

    Looney Tunes.

Batman, Superman, Batman & Superman. Can't forget those, they were epic. Batman more than Superman. I also used to watch those old reruns of the Justice League of America, the ones that were made in like the 50's.

And I know every guy my age on this forum had to have loved Power Rangers. Fuck you if you deny it, that show was epic for a 5 year old. I'm not talking about the faggy rip offs they have now, but the original series.

I'll probably think of more later on... >_>

    Xmen.
    Rugrats.
    Ahh!Real
    monsters.
That loney toon's knock off with the kid looney toons, not the babies.
Are you afraid of the dark.
    Doug.
    Rocko's modern life.
    KaBlam.
    Hey Arnold.
    Catdog.
    Clarissa.
Degrassi,Shut up it was cool >_>.
    All that.
    Kenan and Kel.
Sabrina, I had a huuuge crush on her back then.
    Daria.
The adventures of Pete and Pete.

I watched a loooot of T.V as a child. >_> Not so much anymore. Mostly a few shows and that's it.

Rostam got most of mine. But here's a good list of some of my all time favourites...no links.

    Arthur
    Hey Arnold!
    ARRGH! Real Monsters.
    Rugrats
    Captain Planet
    A-maze-ing
    Round the Twist
    Animaniacs
    PB&J (lol)
    Scooby Doo
    Freaky Stories
Are you afraid of the dark?
    Pinky and the Brain
    Catdog
    Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers
    Daria
    Samurai Pizza Cats (I think...)
    Beast Wars
    Transformers

And probably my all time favourite of all favourites -

    BIKER MICE FROM MARS!

I could probably think of more later, but these are the ones I remember best. I feel sorry for my little brother and sister, having to deal with all the crap nowadays.

Edit: Animorphs, thanks Militis. A pretty cool show at the time, and it had a younger Iceman in it as Jake. Franklin the Turtle was another one I used to watch when I was 4 years old or something.

    Heres a couple of others:

    Feral T.V
    Anything on Cheese TV
Dragonball Z (The original series - with Raditz, Frieza, Androids and Cell games...duh)
    Pokemon (Original)
    Duck Tales
    Martin Morning
    Spellbinder
    The Wiggles
    Teletubbies

I used to watch Scooby Doo. LOTS of Scooby Doo.

And some Thundercats. Maybe a bit of Rugrats, Winged Avenger, and something else I can't think of right now.

I mostly read as a kid though...don't ask me why. I liked/still like books.

Edit: Ah yes! Beast Wars and Transformers. Thanks Jenkins.

Edit2: Forgot the Goosebumps. Those were epic. I read the books too. Had quite the collection. Along with Animorphs. Dunno if Animorphs was ever turned into a TV show or not, but they were fucking good books.

    Thundercats.

    Power rangers.
    Iron man.

Also I challenge thee to best my list with shows you actually watched. 2000 is the latest date a show can start running.

    Batman
and of course ...Teenage mutant ninja turtles!

We had one TV so my brother and I had to take turns to choose what to watch, I think I got the best of the deal:)

I used to watch a lot of Smurfs. Everyday after school, until Pokemon premiered. I actually used to know the name of every Smurf. And every Pokemon, for that matter, from the first series.

I think I get why I wasn't all that surprised at the 'Dumbledore is gay' thing now.

I see a lot of my favorites already listed here but seriously... no Batman Beyond listed yet? That show was epic in so many ways.

God, I used to watch all sorts when I was a kid. Power Rangers (the original series, and maybe the second one) was fucking epic though, as was Thomas the Tank Engine :D. I had every single train when I was about 8 years old, but I left them outside one time and somebody stole them :(.

I was a big fan of 'scary' ones like Goosebumps and Are You Afraid of the Dark? They were brilliant. There was another show I enjoyed that I can barely remember. Premise was that some idiots exploded nukes over the North Pole and the sea level raised so that Britain was more like the Bahamas. Twas great, and I had a crush on the main girl in it, which kept it in my mind :p.

    Now for the list:

Tom and Jerry (Best cartoon ever)
    Animaniacs
    Looney Tunes
Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner (I still watch these on Youtube when I get bored)
    Transformers
Airwolf and Knight Rider (my big brother was a huge fan of both so I had pretty much no choice but to watch)
    The A-Team
    Pinky and the Brain (Narf!)
Dragonball Z (I was an avid fan up until the Majin Buu saga, then I found something else to watch >_>)
    Jonathan Creek
Early Edition (about a newspaper that tells you tomorrow's news, was quite epic)
Pokemon (I don't think there was a kid in England who hadn't seen at least one episode >_>)
Round the Twist (I still lol at the 'without my pants' episode occasionally :p)
And last but not least: Angry Beavers, cause Norbert just rocked that much.

    5. Pirates of Dark Water (I heard that it was based on a graphic novel, has anyone read it?)
    6. Rugrats
    7. A Pup Named Scooby-Doo
    8. Inspector Gadget (I still say "wowzers" irl)
    9. Muppet Babies
    10. Fraggle Rock
    11. Ducktales
    12. Goof Troop
    13. All of those shitty shows on T.G.I.F. (Don't know if they had something similiar outside of the 'States)
    14. Unhappily Ever After (with Nikki Cox, currently of 'Las Vegas' fame)
    15. Doogie Houser
    16. Aeon Flux
    17. Dario

I watched an old episode of that the other day and suddenly realized that all the girls in that show were hot, yes even Rita, still I had a crush on Kimberly when I was younger too.

Aeon Flux was cool, but I can barely remember it, and Beevis and Butt-Head was that show that my Grandma didn't want me to watch, so I slipped into the living room at night to watch it.

Pirates of Darkwater....good lord that brings back memories....I was so disappointed when they took that off TV.

Is it just me or have Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon's cartoons actually becoming more and more crappy?

Oh, and Kablaam was the shit:cool:

I dunno, CN still has Bill and Mandy, which is an epic show.

    ...

Actually, that's the only show they have that I can stand. Whatever happened to that Samurai show they had? Where he went to the future and is trying to get back to his own time?
