There's a significant difference between advocating an ideology and believing it was historically the case.

Might be more of a presentism thing than a postmodernism thing^. Though I suppose there is overlap.

For the given example, I suspect it's plain old stupidity at work. Occam's Razor and so on.

Yeah, plus my house is on a low-lying area. I actually just finished building a dam to prevent the downstairs neighbors from flooding.

The important half of moving (getting the fuck out of this shithole of a town) is complete. Should be set up in new place by the end of the week.

Final roommate left for spring break yesterday, I've since spent the entire day listening to loud ass music and singing along without abandon. Gonna enjoy these next few days.

TOMD: I socialize my puppy with human beings in a variety of settings, and one of those is Home Depot. I do this because all the stores in my area allow dogs, and because it gives me a reasonable chance of having a number of unstructured interactions with a variety of people in age groups which means lots of training opportunities.

Today, I had my first "HOW DARE YOU BRING A DOG INTO THIS STORE" from another customer from about 10 feet away. I've never seen so many people look at another person like they were fucking insane so quickly. I feel for the poor associate in the paint section who got the joy of explaining to her that, while the dog was welcome in the store, people shouting at other customers were not.

TOMD: Went to an actual LAN party (for CSGO). We had an awesome time and that feeling of nostalgia of playing CS 1.6 in LANs was ever present.

I-75: I am going to fuck Atlanta so hard, what with my new stadium with no parking, no public transit, and right at the chokepoint of the city where I can gum up the 285.

    I-85: Hold my beer.

    Boy, that was fun!

I, for one, welcome this new sense of anonymity that the staff have decided to gift us.

I would have a comical argument with myself if I knew the site wasn't going to automerge posts.
