Finished. Still have all three legs. Not a great time on the clock, chip times not in.

    2:52:50.

The goal was finishing, so I'm happy.

After four months, I finally shaved.

No more spotty homeless beard, fuck yes.

Edit: I am also getting my mostly outdoor cat fixed today, which I feel horrible about, but he’s such a little shit, and he’s getting beaten all the time :(

TOMD: The Internal Review Board finally approved my Honor’s Thesis.

    So glad that’s over.

Being between jobs is miserable, I'm going out of my mind with boredom, and there's only so much I can do around the house or yard to keep from going mad.

TOMD: Making the transition to being a political principal in my own right instead of someone else's agent has been a really fucking weird experience. My advice gets listened to before the actual merits are considered, people always answer my phone calls or return them promptly. I should have done this ages ago.

True, but now you can't rail against the man, Gio. You are the man.

Hung a not guilty verdict on the scoreboard today. Jury was out exactly 11 minutes.

Terroristic threatening. Prosecuting witness said my guy pulled a gun on her and threatened to kill her. It's the quickest verdict I've ever seen.

Honestly I don't think so. If I were betting on it, I'd say they argued but there was never a gun.

I'm not a DNC member. Probably should fix that before the next convention TBH.

(95% kidding. The last thing I need in my life is a new phone # due to crazies calling me 24/7.)

And get 10,000 calls/day from his rabid supporters? Not worth it! I'd much rather go as a pledged delegate - the path is easier and everyone gets released after the first deadlock or two.

TomD: Spent 1600$ on a new mattress. It kind of hurt to do. Admittedly I did need a new one, current is like 15 years old.

I also learned I am apparently very much a miser/skinflint/pennypincher according to my dad.

TOMD: Spent the last 24 hours listening to Muse. Has definitely ignited my own muse, I'm pinching in a few words of writing here and there between experiments and reading.

TOMD: Skiving work. One of my best friends in the entire world (who has been AWOL for months) decided to come by for a surprise visit today by chance. Clearly fate is supporting this behaviour.

Draft three of my book is done.

Starting the editing tomorrow. Due date for final-draft-before-beta-reads is August 1.

My shears are ready. Let's see how I do.
