Hi everyone. Welcome to the signup thread for Harry Potter Werewolf. For those of you who don't know what Werewolf is I'll explain.

Werewolf is a strategy game, starting off as a very basic game as sheep and wolves. The wolves are disguised as sheep and the sheep every day must vote for one sheep/wolf to be executed. The wolves will try to stay alive as long as possible and each night they may kill one of the sheep. The game ends if there are more wolves than sheep left or all of the sheep are dead.

Of course, there are special roles and powers that can be had. There is someone like the seer, who may dream about different people to see if they are sheep or wolf. There are also special powers that certain people may have.

Now, this is the basic game. There are much more complicated versions but that is basically how to play. You can vote each day for someone to be executed. The person with most votes will be executed. If you are innocent you must try to kill all evil or at least reveal evil people so everyone can vote on an execution. Evil people must try and convince innocents (and other evils) to vote for an innocent, making their job so much more easy as they get to kill a person each night.

Harry Potter version will have spells, powers, house points and many more things.

If you would like to join this game or have any questions, post clearly that you want to join in bold.

It may take a while for the game to begin as I need to have a number of people to make roles for.

this sounds like a card game I played. Except that was called Mafia or something of the sort. You were randomnly dealt cards and the cards represented people in the town. There were cops who could arrest the murderer and then put them on trial. there was the doctor who could protect one of the citizens each night. If a person was killed a cool story about their deaths would be made up and told by the narrator. If someone was arrested they could be put on trial and give a defense. If they were convicted they would be killed and automatically out of the game. Not sure how this would work on a forum, but I guess you could use PMing.

Being that this thread hasn't been updated in a couple months, I'm sceptical on Sire Raven starting the game back up.

    *sigh*
Did you not see what DGD posted a while back? And the complete lack of other posts for QUITE a while? It would appear that this game is a no-go.

    Too bad.
This could be a very fun game, I've played it before......
Off course not HP style, but if you want I could try to organize one that's not HP style?

Maybe you should read the rules before DGD is going to jump on you ass....the rule that DGD loves to enforce is DONT BUMP OLD TOPICS....especially when there was no reason to post how bad it is your not going to be able ot play.

This isn't really an old topic.
It depends on your POV but I think past 1 month is old.
This topic is still in the range of a month.
So, what is an "old" topic on this board?

Well like you said one month, but this is the game section the topics are pretty much updated every day excluding the locked ones. So for a topic to not be updated for two weeks in the game section is old as it was, I think, at the bottom of the list.

This is considered old. And since Sire was here on the 21'st, but didn't update this thread, I'm assuming it dead.

I'm closing this thread to prevent further bumpage, and unless Sire PM's me it'll stay that way.
