IRC won't work

    Every time I try to open it my browser (FireFox 3) just stops responding. When I close my browser everything works again. What is going on? Everything else works perfectly except IRC.

    Are you using the java app?

    You might need to update java, or alternatively you could use a dedicated IRC program or addon like mIRC or Chatzilla.
