    Congratulations, you've successfully corrupted me.

    I went ahead and grabbed the first book in the Dresden Files series last night. Good read, pretty fast, pretty obviously a 'book 1 of x.'

    Mind you, I've only read the first book, but I was wondering if anybody else thought Dresden was a... well, nicer/cleaner/more family friendly version of John Constantine?

    And I'm talking the Brit, not the freaking Hollywood version.

    Hmmm... Interesting point, but Hellblazer!Constantine often gets away with barely using any magic at all, instead preferring to outsmart his opponents. We rarely see him stroll into a fight, staff a-blazing. Dresden seems much more willing to get all evocation-happy then Constantine.
