We all know what's been happening over at ff.net. But it seems like because of this, there's been a huge upsurge in the number of people joining my group (about 25 in a day).

Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same.

Not really. I've not got any references to my Yahoo Group actually in my story, so not many people know that I even have one. I'd imagine that there has been a rather large increase though, especially for those authors who had stories deleted.

Personally, I joined a few yahoo gruops of authors that got deleted and oppened my own... so yeah, before I never even thought about yahoo groups. Now, I'm spending more time on them than on accursed FFN...

Ahhh true. Very well done. If it shows that DLP members are bringing back deleted stories we might get more members here and a good rep! :p

Aye, Pengiun's archive of stories, one of which is hosted here I believe, will no doubt bring some folks in if it gets around

Slightly off topic, does anyone know how to turn off the damn 'pending membership' thing. I was messing around and somehow changed the membership settings to 'approve first'. I'm really desperate to learn how to turn it back please! I can't stand having to approve every single member every day.

From any of the groups pages in the left menu box click on Management. Then under Group Setttings click Membership. Then next to Membership Type and Welcome Message click Edit. Change the top radio button from Restricted to Open. Click Save Changes.
